Healthcare Programme Manager - 5-Month Contract - Outside IR35

An organisation is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a range of transformational IT programmes within the healthcare sector, driving improvements across clinical, operational, and business processes.

This is a high-impact role where you will deliver technology-enabled change that enhances patient care, streamlines workflows, and maximises value for healthcare stakeholders.

Key Skills:

Outside IR35.

Proven experience as a Programme Manager within the healthcare sector.

Demonstrable success delivering large-scale IT transformation or ERP projects.

Strong understanding of clinical and operational processes and their interdependencies.

Skilled in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to flex between approaches.

Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.

Strong financial management and business case development experience.

Relevant programme management certification, such as MSP, PRINCE2, or AgilePM, is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of healthcare IT transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational priorities.

Manage complex multi-disciplinary teams and third-party suppliers to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.

Oversee ERP, digital transformation, and clinical systems projects, ensuring integration across healthcare infrastructure.

Drive benefits realisation, embedding sustainable change and measurable improvements.

Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across clinical, operational, and corporate functions.

Apply appropriate delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid, to suit the programme context.

The Programme Manager will operate Outside IR35 and will be required to travel to site on an ad hoc basis in London.
