Interim Project Manager - Technical

Length: Initial 3 months
This role will work closely with the Programme Manager to develop and deliver a programme of minor and major works across an education estate. The programme includes planned maintenance and expansion projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical advice on property and construction across a range of capital projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
Be responsible for defining the scope of a project and for its design, procurement, delivery, and successful handover from beginning to end.
Be responsible for the project budget, financial approvals and control, reporting, and administration of project finances.
Be responsible for regular progress reporting on each assigned project, managing successful delivery to specification, time, and budget.
Essentials:
Previous experience in a similar role within a local authority, managing similar budgets.
Relevant project management experience within schools and local authorities is preferred.
A diploma or equivalent in a related discipline, or relevant experience in a similar position.
Valid enhanced DBS check for working in schools.
Valid driving licence and DVLA check.
