Job Description
Are you a recent science graduate looking to start a rewarding career in pharmaceutical quality assurance and quality control?
A pharmaceutical laboratory is expanding and is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and driven individual with excellent communication skills to join its growing team.
This is a full-time, 5 days on-site position.
This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work across both Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, providing an excellent foundation for graduates who want to build a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry.
You will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world GMP operations in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job Description
Support the QA and QC departments in ensuring all laboratory activities are conducted in accordance with GMP, SOPs, and pharmacopoeial requirements.
Support audits and inspections, including regulatory, customer, and internal inspections.
Ensure laboratory compliance with GMP.
Use and maintain electronic systems such as LIMS and temperature monitoring systems.
Log all laboratory samples and consumables.
Take responsibility for supply chain activities, ensuring all materials are available before they are needed by the laboratories.
Communicate with suppliers, ensuring costing, quotations, and core lists are in place.
Maintain supplier KPIs.
Organise and manage laboratory waste.
Manage document control activities, including archiving and issuing controlled documentation.
Manage and organise document destruction and off-site document handling.
Maintain change controls.
Keep up to date with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and communicate implications to the team.
Contribute positively to a collaborative and proactive team environment.
Perform other QA and QC-related duties as assigned.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in sciences, such as microbiology or a related discipline.
Excellent communication skills.
A proactive, can-do and will-do attitude.
Experience with scientific and/or pharmaceutical terminology is preferred.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
You will report directly to the QA Manager.
