Tribunal Officer

I'm currently supporting a client with the recruitment of an experienced Tribunal Officer to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong SEND/legal experience looking for a high-impact role with flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of SEND Tribunal cases (SENDIST)
• Prepare and submit responses, evidence bundles and witness statements
• Represent the Local Authority at hearings and mediations
• Work closely with legal teams, schools, and SEN services
• Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and processes

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Tribunal Officer / SEND Case Officer
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and tribunal processes
• Excellent written skills - able to produce clear, robust legal responses
• Confident liaising with parents, legal representatives, and professionals
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
