Pay: £95.25 £109.34 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Darlaston
Hours: Typical school hours (e.g. 8:30am 3:30pm)
Contract: Full-time or part-time opportunities available

Smart Education is currently recruiting for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a primary school in Darlaston. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children s learning and development within a positive and inclusive school environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in the classroom. You may provide general classroom support, assist with small group activities, or work 1:1 with pupils who require additional support.

• Working with small groups of SEN children

• Some SEN 1:1 work

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities

• Working with pupils individually or in small groups to support learning

• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment

• Encouraging pupils confidence, independence, and participation

• Supporting behaviour management and promoting positive conduct

• Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)

• SEN experience

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• A patient, caring, and supportive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
