Job Opportunity: Production Operative – Food Production Factory ️

Location: Exeter

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £12.71 per hour. Overtime paid at time and a half after 42.5 standard weekly hours

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 07:00–16:00. 

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced food production factory in Exeter. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited to reliable individuals who enjoy active work and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking, packing, and preparing food products in line with production requirements

Manual handling and heavy lifting of products and boxes as part of daily duties

Ensuring products are correctly labelled and packaged

Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards

Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment at all times

Working efficiently to meet daily production targets

Following all health and safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse roles is desirable but not essential

Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Good attention to detail

Comfortable standing for long periods

Comfortable working in cold temperatures

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
