SEN Teaching Assistants Required - Corby

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in one of our valued partner schools in Corby. This specialist setting supports students with high-functioning autism and physical disabilities, providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every learner is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to provide classroom support during periods of staff absence. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers, graduates considering a career in education, or anyone with a passion for supporting young people with additional needs.

The Role:

• Supporting students with high-functioning autism and physical disabilities.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
• Promoting student independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children, young people, or adults with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
