A well-established Alternative Provision in Tameside is seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to support pupils across Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and behavioural challenges re-engage with education and develop positive outcomes.

The provision supports pupils who have struggled within mainstream education and provides a structured, nurturing environment with small class sizes, strong pastoral support, and a focus on individual progress.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and engagement with learning.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour and pastoral support
Support students with challenging behaviour and emotional dysregulation
Help develop positive coping strategies and behaviour routines
Encourage engagement with learning and structured activities
Implement behaviour strategies in line with school policies
Work collaboratively with staff and external professionals
Contribute to behaviour plans and monitor student progress
