About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hillingdon. The school is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join either their Reception or Year 1 team from September.

This role would suit an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge, as well as an ECT seeking a supportive environment in which to begin their teaching career. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire children to develop a lifelong love of learning.

Main Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS Framework or Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.

Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using assessment to inform future planning.

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.

Foster positive behaviour and establish high expectations for learning and achievement.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development.

Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities, events, and school initiatives.

Maintain accurate records and fulfil all professional teaching responsibilities.About You

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve QTS.

Have experience teaching within EYFS or Key Stage 1.

Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom practice.

Be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that meet the needs of all children.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.

Have high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour, and personal development.
