Based in Lewisham, this role involves working with primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs. The successful Primary Teacher will create engaging lessons, adapt learning materials, and work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

Support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

Monitor progress and implement effective intervention strategies.

Work closely with teaching assistants and other professionals.

Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Contribute to the wider school community in Lewisham.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience working as an Primary Teacher or within a special educational needs setting.

Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
