Job Advertisement: Support Worker

Location: Milton Keynes
Position: Support Worker (Days and Nights)

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team at our site that offers medium, low secure and acute services providing specialist treatment programmes for patients who have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended 2007) and have a history of offending behaviour. We also offer a rehabilitation intensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) service for women with a diagnosis of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD).

• Pay Rate: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour (depending on experience and shift type)
• Shifts: Flexible day and night shifts available

• Prior experience in a mental health or healthcare setting
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Empathy and dedication to patient care and recovery
• PMVA Certificate required - you CANNOT support here without this training
• Indate and Clean DBS

• Support patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity
• Assist healthcare professionals in implementing care plans and therapeutic activities
• Encourage patient independence and engagement in rehabilitation tasks
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any observations
