Primary Learning Support Assistant - Worksop

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Learning Support Assistant seeking flexible work across Worksop primary schools?

Academics are working with a number of supportive and inclusive primary schools throughout Worksop who require dedicated support staff on a temporary, ongoing basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across different year groups and school environments while making a positive difference to pupils' learning and development.

Position: Primary Learning Support Assistant
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing
Pay: 92.56 - 95 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you

About the Role

As a Primary Learning Support Assistant in Worksop, you will provide valuable support to teachers and pupils across the primary age range.

You will help pupils remain engaged in lessons, provide additional support where needed, and contribute to creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children and wants the flexibility of supply work while gaining experience across a range of primary settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
  Work with pupils individually and in small groups
  Assist with classroom preparation and learning activities
  Encourage confidence, independence and participation
  Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement
  Support pupils with varying learning needs
  Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
  Experience working with children in education or childcare settings
  Caring, adaptable and professional approach
  Good communication and interpersonal skills
  Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
