Salary: £92.56 - £105 per day

The school is looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from September, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right Secondary Teaching Assistant. The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will support students across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, including those with SEND and SEMH needs, working closely with teaching staff to deliver classroom support, promote engagement and help students overcome barriers to learning.

The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND and SEMH needs

• Experience working within a secondary school or educational setting

• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A proactive, patient and resilient approach

• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
