Job Description

My client is a leading civil engineering contractor who is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to support the delivery of a major civils package on the Sizewell C project.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, taking a key role in the successful delivery of complex civil engineering works.

Senior Engineer Responsibilities:

• Managing and mentoring a team of Site Engineers and Section Engineers.
• Coordinating engineering activities across multiple work fronts.
• Reviewing and managing technical documentation, permits, and site paperwork.
• Ensuring all engineering records, QA documentation, and as-built information are maintained accurately.
• Liaising with design teams to resolve technical queries and coordinate design changes.
• Supporting project planning activities and monitoring progress against programme.
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS, ITPs, and work package plans

Senior Engineer Requirements:

• CSCS Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Strong experience managing Site Engineers and engineering teams.
• Good understanding of planning processes and programme management.
• Knowledge and experience of SSOW (Safe System of Work) procedures.
• Strong understanding of QA processes, engineering documentation, and project controls.
