Window Fitter's Mate - Timber Windows & Doors

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Window Fitter's Mate to assist with the installation of high-quality timber windows and doors in residential properties. Working alongside experienced fitters, you will help ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead fitters with the installation of timber windows, doors, and associated products.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from site.
• Prepare work areas and help protect customer properties during installation works.
• Support the removal and disposal of existing windows and doors.
• Handle and position timber frames, glazing units, and other materials safely.
• Carry out basic sealing, finishing, and site-cleaning tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers.

Requirements:

• Good practical skills and a willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Desirable:

• Some experience in construction, carpentry, glazing, or a similar trade or training environment.
