The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from September 2026. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, deliver targeted interventions and provide additional support to pupils with SEND where required. This rewarding role will play a vital part in helping pupils access the curriculum, build confidence and make excellent progress both academically and personally.

The successful Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will have:

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

A passion for supporting children’s learning and development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable

A positive, proactive and flexible approach

The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
