KS2 Primary Cover Teacher - Doncaster

Are you an enthusiastic KS2 Primary Cover Teacher seeking flexible teaching work across Doncaster?

Academics are recruiting KS2 Primary Cover Teachers to support a range of friendly and inclusive primary schools throughout Doncaster on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.

This role provides the opportunity to work across different Key Stage 2 year groups while enjoying the flexibility that supply teaching can offer.

Position: KS2 Primary Cover Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: 130 - 190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you

About the Role

As a KS2 Primary Cover Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging lessons across Years 3 to 6, helping pupils build confidence, independence and the skills needed for future learning.

You will work across a variety of school settings, supporting continuity of learning during staff absences and ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated.

This opportunity is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to gain experience in different school environments while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS2
  Differentiate learning to support pupils of varying abilities
  Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour expectations
  Support pupil progress and achievement
  Encourage confidence, resilience and independence in learners
  Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams
  Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  Experience teaching within KS2
  Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  Flexible and professional approach
  Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
