Pay: 92.56 - 95 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

About the Role

As a Classroom Teaching Assistant in Retford, you will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping them engage with learning and develop both academically and socially.

You will work closely alongside teachers to support classroom activities, deliver targeted interventions, and provide additional support to pupils who require extra guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms
  Provide small group and individual pupil support
  Assist teachers with classroom preparation and learning resources
  Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
  Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development
  Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
  Previous experience working with children in education or childcare settings
  Patient, caring and proactive approach
  Strong communication and teamwork skills
  Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
