KS1 Primary Cover Teacher - Doncaster

Academics are working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Doncaster who require dedicated KS1 Primary Cover Teachers on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.

Position: KS1 Primary Cover Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: 130 - 190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a KS1 Primary Cover Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across Years 1 and 2, supporting pupils as they develop key literacy, numeracy and social skills.

Working on supply allows you to experience a variety of school environments while continuing to make a positive impact on children's learning and development.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking flexible teaching opportunities within Doncaster primary schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 classes
  Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
  Support pupils' academic and personal development
  Maintain effective behaviour management strategies
  Assess learning and provide feedback where required
  Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  Strong classroom management skills
  Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
  Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
