HGV Class 2 Driver - Birmingham (B6)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Birmingham.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Lorry Driver.

Shifts:

06:30am starts (42 hours a week)

Rates of Pay:

£18.11 per hour (Days)

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps, multidrop
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules

Does include handling of alcohol

Essential Skills:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C licence (Class 2)
• Minimum of twelve months Class 2 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English

Training:

• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
