ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE

£12.95 Per Hour

Vanta Staffing are recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join a busy and growing manufacturing operation based in High Wycombe.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for long-term employment with genuine permanent opportunities available following a successful temporary period.

The Role:

• Assembling products using hand and power tools
• Following assembly instructions and production specifications
• Working from production paperwork
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Reporting any defects or issues immediately
• Working as part of a busy production team
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Physical Requirements:

• Regular lifting and moving of products weighing up to 25kg
• Some products are long and awkward, requiring careful handling and occasional team lifts
• Standing at a workstation for up to 4 hours at a time
• Frequent bending, lifting and manual handling duties
• Working within a busy manufacturing environment

Candidates must be physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties safely throughout their shift.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous assembly, manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail
• Strong quality focus
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Shift Patterns Available:

Morning Shift:
06 30

Afternoon Shift:
14 15

Please Note:

• This is a physically demanding role involving regular lifting of products weighing up to 25kg
• Candidates will be standing and working at a workstation for up to 4 hours at a time
• The manufacturing environment can be busy and noisy
• Safety boots are required at all times
• Dark workwear should be worn (shorts are permitted)
• Attention to detail is essential as quality checks are carried out throughout the production process
• Full training is provided, however candidates should be comfortable using hand and power tools
• Successful candidates should expect a 4 5 day training period before becoming fully competent in the role

This role is best suited to candidates who enjoy hands-on work, are physically fit and take pride in producing quality products.
