Barker Ross is currently recruiting for Warehouse Pickers for their fastest Coldstore client in Corby. Working Wednesday - Sunday 08:00 - 16:30.

Picker - Days Wednesday to Sunday.

08:00 - 16:30
14.20 per hour

Pickers required to work in a Coldstore to accurately pick, pack and prepare customers orders in line with company standards, ensuring efficiency, quality and safely at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick orders accurately
Ensure all orders are completed within deadlines and productivity targets
Carry out quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are selected
Report discrepancies, damaged items, or stock shortages to supervisors
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Assist with stock counts and inventory checks as required

Skills and Experience:

PPT or Counterbalance Licence is essential
Previous warehouse or picking experience desirable but not essential
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Experience of using warehouse scanners

Physical requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Manual handling, including lifting and moving stock
Working in a warehouse environment which includes varying temperatures
