Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only - Two-Term Contract (with the potential to be extended)
Salary: 130- 160 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience)

The Role

As the successful Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire Year 2 pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
• Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally throughout their learning journey.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community in Peterborough.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this Year 2 Teacher position, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality education.
• Have strong communication and organisational skills.
• Be committed to helping every child achieve success.
