We are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing company in Clacton-on-Sea who are looking for a Production Operative to join their team.

This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment and would suit candidates with previous factory, production, assembly or manufacturing experience.

The company is looking for reliable individuals who are happy working as part of a team and are comfortable using basic hand tools as part of their day-to-day duties.

Duties will include:

• Assembling products using hand tools
• Cutting and preparing materials
• Following basic work instructions
• Carrying out visual quality checks
• Packing finished products
• Moving materials around the production area
• Loading and unloading products when required
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Assisting with general factory and production duties
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times

The ideal Production Operative candidate will have:

• Previous manufacturing and production or factory experience
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Good attention to detail
• A positive and reliable attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and attendance
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties
