• Location: Northumberland (Major new build site)

• Start Date: July 2026

• Rate: 23.00 per hour (CIS / Gross)

• Duration: Long-term, ongoing work

We are currently looking for experienced, reliable Steelfixers for a brand-new, large-scale civil engineering / construction project kicking off in Northumberland this July. This is a brilliant opportunity to secure steady, long-term work with a top-tier contractor on an ongoing scheme.

• Reading and interpreting structural engineering drawings and bending schedules.

• Setting out, cutting, bending, and fixing steel reinforcement bars (rebar) and mesh.

• Tying steel using hand tools/cutters to secure structures like foundations, retaining walls, and concrete slabs.

• Working safely and productively alongside the concrete and shuttering gangs to meet tight site schedules.

• Valid Blue CSCS Card (NVQ Level 2 in Steelfixing preferred).

• Full PPE and your own reliable tools (nips/rebar cutters, belts, etc.).

• Proven experience as a Steelfixer on major commercial, civils, or housebuilding frameworks.

• Reliable transport to get to site in Northumberland.

• A strong work ethic and a commitment to site health and safety.
