Project Manager
A public sector organisation is looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their commercial property team on an interim basis. You’ll work on refurbishment and capital improvement projects across a variety of council buildings, managing multiple smaller-scale schemes at once.
What you’ll do:
* Inspect buildings and plan remedial works
* Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and project briefs
* Supervise contractors and manage budgets on site
* Coordinate statutory inspections and compliance
* Work closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
* Building Surveying qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree)
* Experience in refurbishment, maintenance, or public sector projects
* Knowledge of JCT contracts
* MRICS preferred but not essential
* Able to juggle multiple projects efficiently
* Experience across commercial portfolios
