Academics is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in East Sussex on a full-time maternity cover contract starting in September.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, maintaining high expectations, and creating a positive learning environment where all children can thrive.

The Role

Full-time KS2 teaching position.

Maternity cover contract commencing in September.

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
