Job Title: Class 1 Shunter Driver (CE Licence) - Cornwall

Location: Cornwall

Pay Rate: £19.08 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday

Start Time: 4:00 AM

Shift Length: 8 hours per day

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics and distribution site in Cornwall. This role involves safely moving trailers around the yard and positioning them in and out of loading docks to support smooth warehouse operations.

• Shunting trailers safely around the depot yard.
• Moving trailers in and out of loading docks.
• Conducting vehicle and trailer safety checks.
• Ensuring all trailer movements are completed efficiently and safely.
• Communicating with warehouse and transport teams.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Reporting any vehicle, trailer, or site issues promptly.

• Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Shunter experience is desirable, although experienced Class 1 (CE) drivers will also be considered.
• Understanding of yard safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
