Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Multi-Drop Store DeliveriesLocation: Willenhall Pay Rate: Flat Hourly RateContract Type: Temporary / OngoingJob OverviewWe are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for multi-temperature, multi-drop store deliveries. This role involves delivering goods to retail stores with a combination of cage deliveries and some handballing.Shifts are available across AM and PM operations, with flexible start times and consistent work available for reliable drivers.Key Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries (3-8 drops per shift)
• Carry out store deliveries using cages and occasional handball
• Use a PDA system to confirm and process deliveries at each location
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Follow all driver hours, WTD and site compliance rules
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

• AM Shifts: £17.94-£21.00/hr
  • Start times from 03:00 (typically from 06:00 for agency drivers)
• PM / Afternoon Shifts: £/hr
  • Start times from 12:00
  • Last deliveries typically completed by 22:00
• Day Shift Window: 02:00 - 11:59
• Night Shift Window: 12:00 - 01:59

• 45-minute deduction for Tacho vehicles
• 30-minute deduction for non-Tacho shifts (including shunters)

• Standard induction: Approx. 4 hours
• Reduced induction may be conducted due to demand
• Inductions typically start at 06:00
• Immediate starts available following successful induction

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Digital Tachograph Card & CPC Card (in date)
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DG, DD codes - none active or expired)
• Minimum 6 months licence holding
• Minimum 3 months driving experience
• Ability to commit to shifts (especially Thurs-Sat availability preferred)
• Comfortable with multi-drop and physical aspects of the role

• Bookings for shifts cannot be cancelled after 15:00 the day prior
• Drivers completing less than 6 hours must obtain permission to leave site and ensure timesheets are authorised
• Shunters must be flexible to work up to 10-hour shifts
