Science Teacher - Darlington

• Full-Time Long-Term Supply
• 165 - 250 per day (dependent on experience)

Veritas Education are supporting a well-established secondary school in Darlington in the recruitment of an engaging and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner to make an immediate impact within a supportive department, teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum
• Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive learning environment
• Contribute to departmental planning and student progress

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
• Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities
