The role would suit individuals with previous experience in education, childcare, youth work, or support work, as well as those looking to build a long-term career within schools.

• Support pupils within the classroom on a one-to-one and small group basis
• Assist the class teacher with daily learning activities and lesson preparation
• Help pupils remain engaged, focused, and confident in their learning
• Provide additional support for children with varying learning needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and social development
• Support children's emotional wellbeing and independence
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure pupils make progress

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable
• Patient, supportive, and approachable nature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive
• Passionate about supporting children's development and education
• Keen to learn and develop within a school setting
