Nursery Teacher Maternity Cover

Location: Redbridge
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover
Salary: £160-£200 PAYE

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in children s lives?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at our 3/4 form entry school in Redbridge from September 2026 on a maternity cover basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and helping young children thrive within a well-established and welcoming school community.

As our Nursery Teacher, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued, confident, and excited to learn. You will plan and deliver creative activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), support children s development, and work closely with colleagues and families to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate Early Years qualification
• Has a minimum of 1 year s experience teaching in a nursery/Early Years setting
• Has strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
• Is creative, enthusiastic, and committed to children s learning and wellbeing
• Can build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Works well as part of a supportive and collaborative team
