Learning Support Assistant - Hertfordshire

Location: Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 95- 105 per day

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Hertfordshire.

This rewarding role involves supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings.
• Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and help them participate fully in lessons.
• Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
• Monitor and record pupil progress where required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school, education, or care setting is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
• A patient, caring, and positive approach to supporting young people.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Right to work in the UK
• DBS on the update service or willing to apply
