Salary: £160 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a high-performing Grammar School in Tonbridge that is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher for a full-time position from September. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher on a full-time basis from September until December initially, with the possibility of this being extended to a permanent position for the right Science Teacher. The successful Science Teacher will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining high expectations, and supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes in a fully inclusive environment.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Science up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Excellent classroom management skills

• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum

• The ability to motivate and inspire young people

• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
