Learning Support Assistant - Hertfordshire

Location: Hertfordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Contract: Term Time Only

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £95-£105 per day

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming school in Hertfordshire.

This rewarding role involves supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings.

Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development.

Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.

Support pupils with additional learning needs and help them participate fully in lessons.

Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.

Monitor and record pupil progress where required.Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in a school, education, or care setting is desirable.

Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.

A patient, caring, and positive approach to supporting young people.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Right to work in the UK
