Mechanical & Electrical Vehicle Technician (Contract)

Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

£18.00–£19.00 per hour

Full-time

Monday–Friday (Days)

Recruitable Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Vehicle Technician to join a busy automotive/manufacturing environment in Leamington Spa. This is a long-term, ongoing contract with stable weekday hours and competitive pay.

Duties include:

Mechanical fitting/assembly of vehicle components

Routing, running and securing cables and looms

Building, fitting and connecting wiring looms to spec

Connecting lights, switches, sensors, control units and other electrical components

Working from wiring diagrams, build sheets and technical instructions

Basic fault finding, testing and visual inspections

Maintaining quality, safety and build standards What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in vehicle build/automotive manufacturing (mechanical + electrical)

Strong vehicle wiring skills (cable routing, loom installation, high-quality finish)

Able to read wiring diagrams and follow technical instructions

Reliable, detail-focused, quality-first approach

Right to work in the UK What’s on offer:
