Length of Contract: 12 months minimum
Want to lead major substation construction projects across the Southwest while working on critical energy infrastructure schemes?
Our client is growing their Substation Build Team and is looking for an experienced Site Manager to support projects across the Southwest. This role offers the opportunity to work on 11kV to 132kV distribution network projects, including the refurbishment and construction of switch houses, transformer enclosures, switchgear, transformers, and cabling infrastructure.
Job Role
As Site Manager, you will oversee construction activities from initial site setup through to final completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme. Acting as the principal contractor on site, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily site operations, maintain health and safety standards, and work closely with clients and project teams throughout the delivery process. The role will involve supervising civil and electrical works within live substation environments while ensuring quality, compliance, and programme targets are consistently achieved.
