Pay Rate: 14.57 per hour

Our client, a well-established and busy sheet metal manufacturing company based in Chadderton, is currently recruiting for a Fitters Mate to join their installation team.

Working alongside an experienced Installation Fitter as part of a two-person team, you will assist with the installation of flue ductwork systems at customer sites throughout the UK.

This is a physically demanding, site-based role that offers full training and the opportunity to develop specialist installation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with the installation of flue ductwork systems at customer sites nationwide.

Supporting the lead fitter with loading, unloading and handling materials and equipment.

Ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with site regulations.

Maintaining a professional approach whilst representing the company on customer premises.

Travelling to sites across the UK as required.

Essential Requirements:

Previous site-based construction, engineering, installation or labouring experience.

Ability to safely lift and carry loads of up to 20kg.

Comfortable working at height.

Valid CSCS Card.

Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts, late finishes and occasional overnight stays when required. What's on Offer:
