Shuttering Carpenter – Immediate Start

Port Talbot

£25–£26 per hour (CIS)

Long Hours | Immediate Start | Ongoing Work

The Opportunity

We’re urgently looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join a live project in Port Talbot.

This is a fast-moving site with immediate start required (we need reliable individuals who can step in and deliver from day one).

The Role

* Install and strike formwork / shuttering systems to spec

* Work from drawings and site instructions

* Deliver high-quality concrete formwork within programme

* Work alongside site teams and other trades

* Maintain strong health & safety standards on a live site

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

* Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter on live construction / civils sites

* Ability to work from drawings independently

* Valid CSCS card

* Own tools and PPE

* Reliable and able to commit to long hours

Preferred:

* Experience on large-scale or industrial sites (e.g. steelworks, civils, major projects)

* Able to integrate quickly into an existing team

What You’ll Get

* Immediate start (urgent requirement)

* 10-hour days as standard

* Overtime available (including Saturdays where required)

* 3–4 weeks initially, with further work for reliable operatives

* Lodge options available for travelling trades (short-term basis)
