AI & Automation Contractors — Founding Operators for TheGuvnr | Implementation, Process Automation & Copilot | UK

Typically £500–600/day · Outside IR35 · UK hybrid/remote · Contracts from a few weeks to several months

Our client TheGuvnr is a new UK marketplace platform — launching this summer — that helps small and medium-sized businesses hire industry-leading contractors under structured delivery engagements. They're recruiting a founding cohort of AI and automation specialists ahead of a pipeline of engagements with UK SMEs that want practical AI which delivers a return — not science projects that stall after the pilot.

We'd like to hear from specialists who can deliver real, usable outcomes for small and medium-sized business clients:

* Workflow & admin automation — Power Automate, RPA; automating invoicing, data entry, scheduling and email handling

* Custom app & tool development — bespoke internal tools, dashboards, client portals and lightweight apps, built rapidly with AI-assisted development and Power Apps

* Copilot & everyday AI — Microsoft 365 Copilot rollout and getting value from the AI features in tools businesses already pay for

* Customer-facing AI — chatbots, automated enquiry and lead handling

* Content & marketing AI — copy, social, email campaigns and proposals

* Document & data processing — extracting, summarising and structuring documents and data with AI
