JML are on the look out for an experienced Strip-Out Construction Supervisor – Job Specification

Location: Falmouth

Job Purpose

The Strip-Out Construction Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient management of strip-out, soft demolition, enabling works, and internal demolition activities on construction and refurbishment project on Market St, Falmouth. The role involves supervising site operatives, subcontractors, and plant to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision

* Supervise all strip-out and soft demolition activities on site.

* Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, RAMS, and project programmes.

* Allocate daily tasks and monitor workforce productivity.

* Carry out daily site inspections and progress reviews.

* Coordinate deliveries, waste management, and site logistics.

Health, Safety & Environmental Management

* Ensure full compliance with company procedures, CDM Regulations, and site-specific safety requirements.

* Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.

* Identify and manage site hazards, including structural, dust, noise, and manual handling risks.

* Ensure all strip-out works are undertaken in accordance with approved RAMS and asbestos management procedures where applicable

Essential Qualifications

* CSCS Card (Supervisor level preferred)

* SSSTS (minimum)

* First Aid at Work

Typical Experience Required

* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in strip-out, demolition, refurbishment, or construction supervision.

* Experience working on live environments and occupied buildings is advantageous
