Senior Engineer â€" Major Industrial Construction Project

Options Resourcing are partnering with one of the UK's leading industrial construction specialists to recruit an experienced Senior Engineer for a major industrial steel-frame development in the Swindon area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role on a high-profile project, working alongside an experienced site management team and playing a key part in the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial build.

The Role

As Senior Engineer, you will be a key member of the project leadership team, taking ownership of all engineering activities from initial groundworks through to project completion and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing all site engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle

Planning and coordinating engineering works to meet programme requirements

Attending and contributing to progress and coordination meetings

Managing QA processes and ensuring works are delivered to specification

Identifying, raising and resolving technical and design issues

Liaising with subcontractors and ensuring they have the information required to deliver works safely and efficiently

Working closely with the supply chain to ensure materials and resources are available when needed

Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on large-scale industrial, warehouse, logistics or steel-frame construction projects

Strong background in groundworks, RC works and steel-frame construction

Excellent QA, setting out and technical problem-solving skills

Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage project engineering requirements

Valid CSCS Card
