As a core member of the production team, you will initially focus on packing various styles of containers filled with chemical products into boxes. As you gain experience and complete training, you will progress to filling operations. Your main responsibilities will include:
Operating manual and automatic processing, filling, and packaging equipment.
Weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials to ensure accurate batch quantities.
Checking batch numbers and chemical codes against schedules and labels.
Palletizing, strapping, or stretch-wrapping completed packs for safe transfer to the warehouse.
Completing and maintaining precise quality records and carrying out routine inspections.
Participating in operational excellence initiatives (5S, Kaizen events, and Autonomous Maintenance).
Safety is the number one priority. You will be expected to:
Strictly follow safe working practices, standard work guidelines, and daily safety checks.
Comply with manual handling, COSHH, and waste handling procedures.
Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
You don't need a degree or years of specialised experience to succeed here full training is provided! We are looking for candidates who possess:
Excellent reliability, high motivation, and a great team-player attitude.
The role is active and involves physical handling and packing duties.
Strong reading, writing, and basic computer transaction skills.
An awareness of health and safety, a keen eye for quality, and a desire to learn new processes.
