Breakfast Club Playworker

Epsom (KT17)

Part-Time Term Time Only

7:15am 9:00am

£15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast Club Playworkers to support primary schools across the Epsom (KT17) area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are looking for rewarding morning work within a school setting. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for pupils before the start of the school day.

The role requires someone who is punctual, proactive, and confident working with primary-aged children, ensuring they have a positive start to their day.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or club setting
• A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, energetic, and caring approach
• The ability to supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Desirable:

• Paediatric First Aid (PFA) qualification
• Previous experience working within a Breakfast Club or childcare setting

Duties will include:

• Supervising children before the school day begins
• Supporting with breakfast service where required
• Organising and leading engaging activities
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
• Following all school safeguarding and health & safety policies
