EYFS Teaching Assistant - Preston

Full-Time September Start Competitive Rates of Pay

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Preston from September.

This is a full-time role, working 6.5 hours per day, supporting pupils within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and well being during these important early years.

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• September start
• Supporting children within the EYFS setting
• Working alongside the class teacher and wider Early Years team
• Assisting with the delivery of engaging and creative learning activities
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development
• Helping to create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
• Has previous experience working within a school setting (desirable)
• Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional learning needs
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting young learners
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
