SEN Tutor - Croydon

Remedy Tutors are looking for experienced and compassionate SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 tuition to students across Croydon who are currently out of school, awaiting specialist placements, or require additional support to access education.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's life by delivering personalised, engaging sessions tailored to their individual needs.

The students we support may present with a range of needs, including:
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
ADHD
SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
Anxiety and school avoidance
PDA profiles
Behavioural needs
EHCPs

Sessions are delivered either in the student's home, community settings such as libraries, or online where appropriate.

Requirements:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE or equivalent)
Experience working with SEN students
Strong behaviour management skills
Ability to build positive relationships and engage reluctant learners
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
