Are you a passionate and experienced Food Technology teacher looking for an exciting new challenge?
Aspire People are excited to be working with a fantastic school in Wednesbury, seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their dedicated teaching team after Easter 2026, 5 days a week ongoing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to deliver engaging lessons, helping students develop practical cooking skills, food safety knowledge, and an understanding of nutrition and food science.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that engage and challenge students
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a safe and supportive atmosphere
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary school level
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to help students achieve their full potential
Strong knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum and relevant assessment processes
