Aspire People is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Dudley area to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated, and skilled English Teacher. About the Role:
We are seeking a confident and inspirational English Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess learning in line with the national curriculum, while also supporting pupils' personal and academic development.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, and is ideal for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative and challenging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Contribute to the development of the English department
Attend staff meetings, parent consultations, and CPD sessions
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Strong subject knowledge across the English curriculum
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
