Electrician

Fixed Term Contract - 10 months

Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for an Electrician on behalf of an organisation to cover a fixed term contract for 10 months.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Electrician:

Conduct inspections, testing, and planned maintenance of electrical installations and fire safety systems.

Test, maintain and ensure compliance of emergency lighting systems across residential properties.

Carry out PAT Testing in accordance with relevant regulations.

Assist with routine fire alarm testing and inspections, including weekly, six-monthly, and annual programmes.

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair door entry, access control and automated gate systems.

Diagnose electrical and system faults, undertaking remedial works and repairs as required.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current British Standards, legislation, and industry best practice.

Accurately record inspections, maintenance activities, and completed works using handheld digital devices.

Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider electrical maintenance team.Essential Requirements of the Electrician:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

18th Edition
