The organisation’s Investment Management & Wealth Operations and Domain Solutions (IM&W ODS) team offers end-to-end transformation services to clients in the Investment Management & Wealth sector. We combine deep knowledge of the industry and its challenges with technology and vendor platform capability, operations expertise and delivery excellence in order to support our clients through the full transformation lifecycle; centered around the core of their business and enabled by technology.
A key growth area within our IM&W team is Real Estate, we are looking for people to join our team with experience of working in or advising Real Estate firms transform their business. Our clients include Real Estate Investment Managers, and Developer/Operators.

The specific roles and responsibilities of the role are as follows.
• Design and architect innovative technology solutions that optimise and transform Real Estate operations across the value chain.
• Provide technical design governance, solution quality assurance and design reviews to keep complex technology programmes on track against industry good practice and standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Architects to translate business requirements and future-state architectures into detailed technical solutions.
• Define and document solution architectures, including infrastructure, applications, data, and integration points, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and security standards.
• Own and develop architectural artefacts, such as high-level design documents,, functional or technical design specifications and integration designs.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms to meet business needs, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the solution development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in areas such as cloud computing, AI/ML, automation, and data analytics, to identify opportunities for innovation within Real Estate technology and operations.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and high performance while providing guidance on career progression.
• Contribute to the growth of the practice's thought leadership by developing insightful content and perspectives on emerging trends in Real Estate technology.
• Champion diversity and inclusion within the team and contribute to broader practice development initiatives.
• Lead business development work such as pre-sales, bid preparation and client presentations.
• Participate in internal the organisation practice development activities to assist the growth of the Real Estate practice including supporting the firm’s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture.

Professional experience needs to include.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Business Analyst with a strong track record of designing and delivering complex technology solutions within the Real Estate industry.
• Deep understanding of the Real Estate lifecycle and technology landscape supporting across the lifecycle (e.g. Yardi, MRI, etc).
• Expertise in designing and integrating solutions across various technology domains, including cloud platforms (e.g., cloud platform, cloud platform), data management, APIs, microservices, and security.
• Analyse and define solution options, gather consensus and drive decision making from business and IT stakeholders.
• Work and collaborate with third party vendors for designing solutions and ability to manage vendor relationships.
• Support clients with identification and selection of leading technology vendors for Real Estate solutions.
• Assessment of existing application estate and provide remediations including definition of technology roadmap underpinned by overall technology vision.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) and experience working with both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
Preferably you will also have.
• Experience in implementing AI-driven solution within the Real Estate lifecycle is highly desirable.
• Experience in selection and/or implementation of key Real Estate technologies (e.g. Yavica, MRI, Yardi, etc).
